The Challenge
A London-based startup had a validated concept for a B2B workflow automation platform and an investor meeting in 12 weeks. They needed a fully functional, production-ready product โ not an MVP or prototype โ to demonstrate at the meeting.
Our Approach
We assembled a dedicated team of four engineers, one designer and a project manager within 72 hours of briefing. We used a React and Next.js frontend with a Laravel API backend, deployed on AWS with auto-scaling infrastructure from day one. Daily standups with the founders ensured complete alignment throughout the build.
We prioritised the core workflow automation engine and reporting dashboard in the first six weeks, then spent the remaining six weeks on the integrations ecosystem, onboarding experience and performance optimisation. The platform launched to its first 50 beta users two days before the investor meeting.
The Results
The platform launched on schedule, processed its first live workflows within 24 hours and has maintained 99.9% uptime since launch. The founders closed a ยฃ2.1M seed round citing the quality and completeness of the product as a key factor in investor confidence. The platform now serves over 400 B2B customers.
